Passionate About Inspiring Others
Hello, my name is Mike Gross and I am passionate about inspiring others to live out their dreams. In my high school and early college days I found myself empty and looking for a purpose in life. In 1990, I was baptized as a Christian and from that day forward, my life was never the same. My new dream was to change the world, but being a quiet and shy person, these dreams appeared almost impossible.

Thanks to God and the encouragement from many great coaches in my life, I entered into the full time ministry in Long Beach, California. Over the last 30 years I have had the privilege of following my dreams to change the world a have traveled across the United States doing so (19 moves!).
​
During these years I was able to speak to groups that would fit in my house to groups of well over 2000 people - I consider this a victory coming from a guy who was so nervous and sweating buckets in college just to do a 5 minute speech in my speech class! I also spent a lot of my time coaching and mentoring others in just about every area of their life.
​
Now, following my dream has not always been easy and there were always many obstacles in the way, but I am a firm believer that failure is our best teacher in life. From lost careers, lost dreams, divorce, deaths of loved ones, my wife's victorious battle with cancer and a failed adoption, I am able to relate to what others are going through with ability to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
In 2020, I was laid off of my ministry role in the Auburn Tuskegee Christian Church due to finances and here I was with another challenge - "What do I do next?" How could I use all of my years of experience helping others improve their lives? The answer was the beginning of MetaMind Coaching!

Along with MetaMind Coaching, I am also the co-founder and Vice President of a nonprofit called the Shalom Home Foundation where are goal is to alleviate housing insecurity through shared housing.
